"Ingrid Simons
has probably made all birdwatchers jealous.
On the evening of 18 May 2018 (8pm) Ingrid was photographing a beautiful sunset from
inside her house, as it was still dripping after a heavy rain shower.
Suddenly an
Eagle Owl (Bubo bubo) landed on the rock some 10 meters from her house.
He quietly overlooked the surroundings in all his powerful royalty and then left.
Ingrid had a few magical, nearly surreal minutes."

I wanted to share this beautiful Portugal memory with you for I miss Portugal a lot.

Due to Covid19 unfortunately we had to postpone the solo show of 2020 (celebrating my 10th "working-in-Portugal jubilee) in Galeria Municipal D. Dinis in Estremoz to 2021
and also later it unfortunately wasn't possible to come and work in Alentejo in 2020.

Unfortunately the situation is still worrysome and we have no choice to postponed
the solo exhibition "Ressonancia da Terra" another year, to spring 2022.
I hope to see you then,

Please stay safe,

Com muitas saudades,

Ingrid
