"So os caminhos eram meus", Palacio Dom Manuel, Evora (Pt) 5 t/m 29 th of September 2012 Today the first day open for public, and upcoming saterday the 8th of September the grand vernissage at 17.00!!!

Today we started building the exhibition in Palacio Dom Manuel in Evora. We were able to get a lot done, tomorrow we will finish building the exhibition ; it is going to be a great show! We have been working on all of this for the last 1,5 years. It will show the newest oil paintings on linnen, silkscreenprints and azulejos inspired by and made in Portugal. On wednesday it will open for public and saterday at 17.00 is the grand vernissage. Please feel welcome! And already thank you so much Camara Municipal de Evora e Fundacao Obras for all the help with making this beautiful exhibition! Ps. this painting is still available for the sponsor project!

Yesss!!! After a beautiful trip through Extremaduro, and a long journey I finally arrived in a very hot Portugal, all well and safe! Further updates will follow!

ROAD TRIP!!! Yesterday evening I safely arrived in Poitiers (F). Today I will drive to Burgos (Es), and saterday I will arrive in Evoramonte (Pt). It is a long trip, for me and my paintings, especially yesterday was, but it is beautiful to see the landscapes change. Already time to select some thoughts and ideas, and preparing for the solo show and residency.

  Getting everything packed for Portugal! 5 of the still availeble paintings will be joining me on our journey to Portugal and for the exhibition "So os caminhos eram meus", that is opening on saterday the 8 th of September!

I would like to realize a publication about the big influence of Portugal on my work (after 2 soloshows, and 3 residencies in Alentejo). The influence is visible in my paintings, silkscreenprints, and last year I started using the portuguese technique of azulejos in my own work.
