Building the exhibition!! Yesterday I arrived safely in Portugal after a three day journey by car together with my paintings. Today we started building the exhibition in the Castelo de Evoramonte. It's is a very special, beautiful castle, and I was given the oppertunity to built the exhibition on not one, but two levels of the castelo. Also very special is, that the years that I have been making all the work in and inspired by Portugal at Fundacao OBRAS, I was watching this castle from there. Now with this solo exhibition 'Jardim Secreto' and the book presentation, it is very symbolic that this is happening on this special location! So already, thank you so much to all whom participating!! Saterday, the 18th of May, at 17.00 h. will be the grand opening of 'Jardim Secreto', we hope to welcome you there!

'So os caminhos eram meus' will be presented in Portugal during the vernissage of my solo exhibition "Jardim Secreto", Castelo Evoramonte on saterday the 18th of May at 17.00 h!!! On saterday the 19th of October 'So os caminhos eram meus' will be presented for the first time in the Netherlands in the midst of a solo exhibition of new work made in Portugal this spring @ Huub Hannen Galerie, Maastricht We hope you will come and celebrate with us! Update met betrekking tot publicatie “So os caminhos eram meus” Ik wil je en jullie naar aanleiding van je participatie aan de realisatie van de publicatie “So os caminhos eram meus” even informeren over de voortgang van deze publicatie. Ten eerste nogmaals dank voor jouw en jullie ondersteuning! De laatste maanden heb ik hard gewerkt om alle teksten en vertalingen te verzamelen en alle foto’s te selecteren en te overleggen met de vormgever. Nu staan we op het punt de vormgeving af te ronden, en in april de publicatie te laten drukken. Ook qua presentatie is er, na veel tijd investeren, een mooi resultaat geboekt. De publicatie zal namelijk eerst op 18 mei 2013 in Portugal gepresenteerd gaan worden! Dit zal gebeuren te midden van een solo presentatie in het Castelo van Evoramonte , op uitnodiging van de provincie Alentejo (t/m 16 juni 2013). This painting is still available @ temporary studio, Achmea, Leiden *** Good news *** The publication "So os caminhos eram meus" will be presented in a solo exhibition in Alentejo, Portugal, this coming spring. Now the dates for the presentation in the Netherlands is also confirmed : 19 October (Vernissage) - 9 November 2013 @ Huub hannen Galerie, Maastricht!!!
