I'm back after a long weekend being away (and without internet) Now work has started again. So many ideas and a new day planning, because at the moment it is really hot here! So to catch up : Our visit to Madrid! It was a crazy idea, but a long time wish, so I started driving at 400 at night (4 hour drive), we arrived at the exact hour of the opening of the Prado. Especially visiting this museum was a long time dream. and we were lucky with parking, right in front of the Prado! A beautiful collection!! For nosso almoco we visited the botanic garden, really beautiful, and cool. Probably a silkscreen will develop out of my photos taken there. and studying the waterlelies, that I started painting this morning Another beautiful collection we visited was the Thyssen  museum, very very beautiful too. I was dreaming of paintings for two whole days. Another art fanatic nowadays! City of Madrid

We visited my solo exhibitions in Estremoz "Raios de Luz" in the Museu Municipal Prof Joaquim Vermelho. The exhibition is very well visited and I am very proud! Due to rebuilding in the museum the exhibition unfortunately will be cloed until the 20th of June, but it will also be prolonged until the 30th of June, and...like the museum, my exhibition will be "reshaped"! Last night I saw a falling star! Olha para a lua e pede um desejo! Visited he beautiful 'stonehenge' of Evora! A very mystical place. And of course my beautiful solo exhibition in the Museu of Artesanate e do Design (MADE) in Evora that I am also very proud of! Still on view up top the end of July! And...today I finished my ceramic works, and I am very happy with all results! Tomorrow I will bring them to the Mestre to be fired. Photos will follow. This weekend I will be visiting (...

My inspiration Working my new "Maria"

Yesterday I visited Madrid and especially the Prado Museum and Thyssen Collection for the first time, a long time dream...it was so unbelievably beautiful.....still very much impressed...And I was quite lucky with the parking spot too : right in front of the Prado Museum  smile emoticon ! So much inspiration! Today I visited Mestre Xico e Luis and they have made beautiful works, so now everything is in my Casa Miradour to be painted!!

Working a lot!! Despite the heat!! Love it! My new gold green lilies inspired by the lily pound in Estremoz The beautiful Ribeiro Sao Braz, that stays an inspiration for me. And the green landscapes need to be painted now, beacause of the heat (everyday 33-37 degrees) all the green grass turns into white.... another Portugues "Nympheas", small size I have started a few small paintings inspired by these beautiful, full red flowers, photos will ollow soon. Today I also, as every year, visited the farmer's market in Estremoz, and met an old friend, i again bought from her a ew beautiful, small saint medallions. Ater that, despite the heat, i started a black and white Saint Mary painting too. Tomorrow will be an intens day, I will travel to Madrid, to visit for the first time the Prado Museum!! It's a dream! Starting Monday I will start painting my ceramic azulejos and vases, that Mestre Xico e Luis made...
